Sunday Update

Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 6:26 am

Storm is winding down but has gone just about as we expected/hoped.  Highest amounts have been in the Cottonwoods (particularly LCC) which is favored by NW flow.  This was expected.  Alta and Snowbird reporting storm totals of 21-23″ so far with 17-20″ of that falling since close yesterday.  Lesser amounts in BCC but still healthy totals.  Snowbasin and Powder Mountain also cleaning up with well over a foot of snow.  A few more snow showers likely this morning with perhaps a couple more inches of snow.

Today should be a fun powder day throughout!  Warming and drying this week before a weak system could bring showers on Friday.

Cross posted on twitter: do you think Jupiter/9990 will run deeper than the 7″ reported by PC and more like the 12″ reported by the resorts in BCC?

Canyons was great this morning. No way it was only 7″.
