First Snow!

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 7:34 am

As a follow-up to yesterday’s “Flakes in the Forecast?” post…

We have received our first snowfall in Utah.  Of course, you’re going to say, “It was just a dusting and confined to areas above 10,000 ft.”   To that, I reply, “Shut up, you’re ruining first snowfall day for everyone!”

Here are some photos:

We got some much needed moisture in the soil last night with fairly widespread rain as well.  Mountain biking this weekend should be great.  Fall is here friends, Winter will be quickly on its heels.

    Looks good to me!

Couple Questions: PNW Blob… still there? This gonan be a issue this year?

Sounds like La Nina isn’t going to happen. How’s a neutral phase affect the area?

BELIEVE there was snow up top of the Canyons Resort (Vail if you prefer). Maybe it was just a smores party.
