Happy New Year to all!

Let us hope 2015 is filled with plenty of snow and powder days!

Brian Head reporting 9″ storm total so far with higher amounts farther east in Southern Utah.

Here is a webcam of snow covering Zion this morning:

A few snow showers possible this weekend at times in the northern mountains, but nothing significant in the forecast for the next 7+ days.

We will update in depth tomorrow!

That silly Canadian model is still holding out hope for snow in the coming 10 days, starting late Friday into Saturday (3-6″), late Sunday into Monday (another 3-6″) and the following weekend (yet again 3-6″), GFS and parallel GFS = bumpkis. Euro is also meh on any appreciable snow in the coming week or so. Even the NWS’ office in SLC isn’t biting.

Why don’t you keep your negativity to yourself, everything you put on here is fucking negative!

Navy model doesn’t provide much help. Only hope, and subject to verification, would be snow late this weekend. If 3″+, then it verifies that the GEM model is spot on and perhaps the 2nd snow event it forecasts by Monday might have legs. Oh, and hey Annoyed. Nice name….your mom not like having you born?

(and for the record, like everyone else here, I want snow. All.The.Time.)
