September Soaking

Tuesday, Sept 9:

One last day of moisture associated with former Hurricane Norbert.  Scattered showers and storms today will give way to drier air tomorrow.  It looks like benign weather will dominate for at least the next 7 days after today.  Temps should be at or above normal for the middle of September.

Looking at the long-range models for additional signs of colder storms… Not seeing all that much quite yet.  It looks like there might be a chance for a cold front or two during the third/fourth week of the month but that’s a long way out.  All in all it looks like a perfect start to autumn.  Things can change quickly this time of year, so enjoy the nice weather while you can and be prepared for wintery to show up again sometime in the next 30 days.  WSF
