Monday update…

Another cool system is dropping into the are today through Wednesday.  This system is first dropping into northeast Nevada before tracking through Utah slowly over the next 48 hours.  This will allow the cool air to modify a bit and we likely won’t see the snow levels as low as we did the other day.  Still, highs in the valley will be in the 70s with 50s in the mountains.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms should persist through Wednesday before we dry out later this week.

Next weekend looks to start out with more typical summer temps but we could get clipped by another cold front on Sunday that will drop temps back down below normal.  One thing’s for sure… Fall is coming!

  • Will you being doing a post about the Farmer’s Almanac that was just recently released?
Any thoughts on this upcoming season?
I bought a season pass last year to Sundance (granted not the most famous for deep powder but it’s local and cheap) and it was pretty much low all year. Even when I went to the Bird it wasn’t all that impressive last year.
