If you’re looking for some more early season snowfall, you aren’t going to get it. Dominant high pressure will keep us (and the entire western U.S.) dry and relatively warm through the end of the month. Latest model runs haven’t been kind either. There was some suggestion of the ridge retrograding around the end of the month, but the latest runs no longer show that idea.
For now, we’ll have to patiently wait and hope that this will make way for an active pattern in November.
