Storm Wrap-up

Friday, October 4, 2013 at 8:26 am

Storm is moving east of the area and most showers are dwindling.  As expected a solid lake effect band developed, and as expected, it quickly moved due south of the GSL — Tooele and the Oquirrhs got the worst of it.   Radar returns would also suggest the Wasatch Back did alright as well with wrap around precip as the low dropped to our East.  All of you in the PC area, please comment with your snow reports, I’m curious as to how much everybody got.  Generally amounts were in the 1-4″ range with pockets of slightly more.

COLD tonight with gradual warming this weekend into early next week.  Next storm system looks to arrive around Thursday of next week.  Models still figuring out the details but right now it doesn’t look to be nearly as cold.  More details tomorrow . . .
