Very disappointing season so far. Every time it looks like we’ll finally see a decent system or two, everything falls apart in the forecast as we get closer. Thursday’s system is the latest example— latest models have all split the system so severely that we would be lucky to get anything more than an inch Thursday night. After that, it’s looking highly unlikely that we’ll see anything in the way of snow until at least the 22nd or so of December. But even then, it’s not looking too promising right now.
Looking for something, anything, to console you in your despair? Perhaps you can take solace in the fact that technically winter doesn’t start for another 8 days and that once we finally do get winter going, Mother Nature can catch up in a hurry with a few big storms. Don’t throw in the towel yet, my friends.
