Beautiful Fall Weather to continue!

Very seasonal pattern for Utah over the next week or so… after a few rain showers (even in the higher elevations) last night and early this morning, high pressure will start to build for the remainder of the week.  Friday and Saturday should be in the upper 70s for the Wasatch Front with 60s in the mountains.  Another chance to see some foliage before its gone.  Leaves will start changing dramatically down in the valleys over the next 10 days so fall is definitely here.  Temps will then drop back below seasonal norms early next week as a weak front drops southeast over the area.  Expecting a similar system to last nigh’ts with slightly cooler temperatures with snow showers in the mountains and a chance of rain showers in the valley Sunday and Monday.

To get the season started it’s going to take a major storm or two, or a series of cold storms to get the base snowpack needed and allow the mountains to make snow.  As of right now the powder hounds don’t see that happening in the next 7-10 days but perhaps there may be something brewing in the 15-day outlook for some more snow storms approaching. Still a long way out to know any details whatsoever. Whatever happens, we’ve gotcha covered.
