Weather in the Valleys of the Wasatch Front will be sunny and gorgeous today (Friday) through the weekend.  Starting on Sunday, a weak front from the west and the trace remnants of Hurricane Hilary will combine to increase moisture and provide isolated to scattered thunderstorm… highs will be in the upper 80s today, cooling to the low-80s tomorrow thru the tuesday.

After tuesday, attention then turns to the pattern change.  Forecast is still on track from yesterday’s discussion with nothing new really to talk about.  Wind picks up on Wednesday…Main front passes through looks like Wednesday night/early thursday… showers in the lower elevations with snow above 7000 feet in the mountains.  Still hard to pinpoint exact snow levels, timing, and precip amounts.  But overall confidence is growing in the storm impacting us and bringing at least some snow.

… La Niña is getting stronger… what does that mean for us…. I’ll explain tomorrow.
